Zoe Cadore exemplifies excellence, service and class. She has been a leader in the Houston community since completing her undergraduate education at Spelman College.

While she was in law school, Zoe served as Miss Houston and worked with numerous organizations and schools, including the Star of Hope Homeless shelter where she hosted summer dance camps.

She was also President of the Black Law Students Association and received the Faculty Distinguished Service Award at her graduation.

Zoe is a founder of the Houston Caribbean Professionals Association, which is a young professional organization for people of Caribbean descent.

In 2016 she was selected as the American Petroleum Institute Energy Fellow through the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and has spent the past 10 months shaping energy, environmental and STEM policy on Capitol Hill.

Zoe also loves traveling and has visited Grenada, Cuba and Costa Rica to inspiring and interact with students in those countries. In March, Zoe was crowned Miss Caribbean United States and will represent the country in the Jaycees International Pageant this summer in Antigua.
