Tafari Turner has been a committed member of SCSU CSA (formerly West Indian Society) since 2012 where he went on to become the Public Relations Officer from 2014 - 2016 and now serving as a Graduate Advisor and a mentor to other members.

Mr. Turner is a very intelligent young man who earned his Bachelors Degree (2016) in Communications and currently pursuing an MBA.

Not only is Tafari intelligent but he is also an amazing Disc Jockey, quickly becoming one of the most sought after DJ's in the area.Tafari has brought the sounds of the Caribbean to SCSU for the past 5 years where it is now customary to hear reggae, soca and kompa during all events (including non CSA functions) on campus.
