Raedeen has an outstanding track record of academic success and a myriad of leadership experiences. She attended Supreme Preparatory school in Montego Bay, Jamaica where she represented the school in music, speech, dance and quiz competitions across the island. She later attended Montego Bay High School for girls where she also made her mark by being selected as Form Captain every year from 7th -11th grade.

Before completing her beloved MBHS she was selected to be the Deputy Head girl and was dubbed Most Popular by her classmates. Raedeen later accepted a Presidential Scholarship to attended Saint Augustine's University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Although she had no family around her, she quickly adjusted and soon began to make her indelible mark at SAU. There she majored in Biology and was consistently ahead of her classmates. She was an academic tutor, a student leader (and later elected as the organization Queen/ top representative", a student representative on the Campus Judicial Board, Campus Activities Board Member, and Chief of Staff on the Student Government Association. She later received awards for the Highest Average in the Biology Department as well as in the Division of Science and Mathematics. She was the 2010 graduating class valedictorian, with summa cum laude honors.

Raedeen later received her Master of Science degree in Biology with a Concentration in Applied and Environmental Biology from Georgia State University. After her graduation she received a fellowship to conduct research on Human Papilloma Virus at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She later matriculated into the doctoral program at Morehouse School of Medicine, in order to further her education. While at MSM, Raedeen received numerous awards and recognition including travel awards to present her research at local, national and international conferences, including in Germany, Dubai and the Netherlands. Her doctoral work investigating the Role of Exosomes in Chlamydial Immunity has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Raedeen also served as a lab instructor for Biochemistry for 3 years, and volunteered as an academic tutor, peer leader and mentor to her peers. Her exceptional leadership secured her the votes to serve on the graduate school's Curriculum Committee where she was the liaison between students and faculty.

Raedeen displays leadership not only at school but in her church, where she serves as a youth leader and dance coordinator, and in her community where she volunteers regularly in various capacities. She mentors high school and undergraduate students, and avails her time to teach other students lab techniques or to help them to trouble shoot a problem. Although she has not yet established a scholarship fund, she uses a portion of her graduate stipend to assist students in her hometown of Orange, Saint. James, in Jamaica. She assists with providing lunch money, tuition assistance or book assistance where needed. She has recently partnered with a Parent-Teacher's Committee at a local high school to assist with the payment of CXC exam fees for students from low income homes. Raedeen is passionate about people which is the driving force behind her pledge to partner with her communities both here in the US as well as in Jamaica. She is also passionate about learning hence her commitment to mentoring and tutoring.
