Princess Francois is a secondary science teacher and Haitian American. As a student leader at Columbia University, she served as president of the Charles Drew Premedical Society, an organization which guides, supports, and encourages premedical students, with a special emphasis on underrepresented minorities, including Caribbean Americans, to become members of the medical field. As president for two years, Princess turned around an organization that was on the brink of discontinuation to become a successful organization that is alive and well at Columbia today. Some of her achievements included developing the Premedical Undergraduate Mentoring Program and creating Pulse: The Unofficial Lifeline Guide for Columbia's Pre-Meds", a 200-page guidebook that was a culmination of over 40 Columbia current and former premedical students sharing advice and experiences. For her leadership and success, she was awarded the annual King's Crown Leadership Award in consecutive years including a Gold Crown, Silver Crown and Leadership Legend Award for Pioneers. Princess was also active in other organizations including the Caribbean Students Association, Haitian Students Association and Africa-Diaspora Literary Society.

Princess served as a Teach for America Corps Fellow for two years and due to her passion for paving the way for students of color to attain a STEM career, has continued teaching ever since. She teaches at a predominately Caribbean secondary school in her home community in Brooklyn, New York and has led her school to be School of the Year at the College Summit.  She has received recognition for serving as a Lead Science Teacher as well as other roles. Princess has certainly demonstrated her leadership potential and impact in the Caribbean American community.
