Born in Guyana, Nadira Beepat spent some of her life studying in Barbados and England before she moved to the United States in 2010. She graduated from Richmond Hill High school and attended Queens Borough Community College afterwards. Her current line of interest surrounds politics and finances. At present she works with Primerica Financial Services as a Senior Representative. She has volunteered and worked with the Indo-Caribbean community in Queens encouraging voters to vote, canvassing for local politicians and working alongside community activist to address issues facing the Caribbean community.

During Nadira's five year involvement with the Boys and Girls club (BGCA) starting in 2010, she was awarded Youth of the Year for three consecutive years for her leadership role and was invited to compete in Albany. At the BGCA she hosted several fashion shows to raise funds for the Runaway preventative program for children. In addition, she also captained the robotics team and was President of the Keystone fundraising organization where she participated in Breast Cancer walk, Leukemia walk and the March or Dimes walk to raise funds. In 2011, she became involved with the Indo-Caribbean Alliance (ICA) as a youth leader. With this organization she was able to service her community by raising awareness of the effects of hookah through acting in PSA video. She also received an internship through ICA to work with City Council and then later started tutoring at the local library.

Nadira gained interest in performing arts with the Rajkumarie Cultural Center (RCC) in 2013. The organization sponsored her to perform in a play held in Florida that addressed the West Indian culture of arranged marriages. Presently, she's volunteering her time with the International Center for Democracy (ICD) which is led by Dr. Bharat Jagdeo who was once president of Guyana. The goal is to promote and implement programs, empower vulnerable groups and engage and educate the younger generation about political involvement, giving them a chance to voice their opinions to make improvements in Guyana. Nadira continues to thrive in making improvements and positively impacting her community in every way she can.
