Mysha Clarke is a Jamaican doctoral student in the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources at Purdue University and immediate past President of the Caribbean Student Association (Caribsa) of Purdue University.

In spring 2016, Mysha led her team at Caribsa and hosted an epic One Love event dedicated to showcasing the Caribbean region. The goal of the event was to sensitize the wider Purdue community about this minority population of students through music, food, dance, and displays. The event was well received throughout the University with hundreds attending the event.  Mysha has a history of serving the Caribbean students at tertiary institutions in the United States. Not only was she President of Caribsa at Purdue, she also served as Vice President and Secretary of their Caribbean Society at Kalamazoo College in Michigan.

Mysha has also made significant strides in the academic community. While pursuing her undergraduate education at Kalamazoo College in Michigan, she received the Beeler Project Grant which gave her the opportunity to engage in a study looking at local perspectives on how the Kingston Metropolitan landfill could become a source of energy for the island of Jamaica. Although very early in her graduate education at Purdue, Mysha has made numerous academic presentations in the United States.
