Jameel is an urban farm planner creating food production systems of various shapes and sizes to fit in any available home space. He started his business, Green Thumb Gardens almost 4 years ago while studying for his Geography and Agricultural Science degree at the University of the West Indies. According to Jameel, there was a growing demand for people who want homegrown meals without the knowledge of how to create home gardens. He began setting up herb and vegetable gardens as well as aquaponic and hydroponic systems in households & have worked our way towards businesses, schools and community gardens.
